Why Play Tennis?
Playing tennis is a fantastic way to make friends, stay fit and learn a skill that will provide a lifetime of enjoyment.
Welcome to the home site of Copleston & Hollywells Community Tennis Club.
We are an award winning friendly community tennis club in Ipswich (England, UK) for juniors between 5 and 18 years old. We aim to promote tennis for young people, particularly in the area of East Ipswich.
The coaches are LTA and PTR trained working as a team led by the head coach and chairman, Sue Fulcher.
We hope you find our site a great source of information about our club and local tennis.
Playing tennis is a fantastic way to make friends, stay fit and learn a skill that will provide a lifetime of enjoyment.
Copleston/Holywells Community Tennis Club offers excellent tuition, with qualified and experienced coaches.
Tuition caters for absolute beginners from age 5 upwards, through improvers, up to competition level.
The regular practise sessions are always enjoyable and make use of a
wide range of activities, equipment and innovative drills to improve
co-ordination, balance and stroke development. The coaching also helps
with court positioning, tactics, and etiquette.
Whilst there is always a time for competitive play, the ethos within
the club is about ensuring that all players enjoy their tennis, learn
at a pace they are comfortable with and compete as and when they want.
There's lots going on: we have a full coaching programme for the Autumn Term
